The New Zealand Debt Management Office today announced that $2.0 billion of 15 April 2037 nominal bonds have been issued via syndication.

The bonds, which carry a coupon of 2.75%, were issued at a spread of 27 basis points over the 14 April 2033 nominal bond, at a yield to maturity of 2.915%.  Total book size, within the initial pricing guidance range of 25 to 31 basis points, exceeded $2.5 billion. 

Settlement will occur on 30 August 2016 and further issuance of the new 2037 nominal bond will not occur prior to December 2016.
