  • Tenders will be governed by the official Operating Rules and Guidelines (PDF 493KB). The preference will be to fill tenders according to volumes announced in the tender schedule, to the extent possible.
  • Given current market conditions, there are no plans to issue inflation-indexed bonds (IIBs) in the month of September 2021. The Treasury will be seeking views from market participants to inform issuance plans, which will be communicated in future updates. IIBs remain an important part of the bond portfolio.
  • Subject to market conditions, it is expected the new 15 May 2051 nominal bond will be launched, via syndication, in the month of September 2021. Further details, including the week of syndication and syndicate panel, will be announced in subsequent updates. As per usual practice, if the syndication occurs, the tender that is scheduled in the same week will be cancelled.
