The Treasury today announced changes to the interest rates available on Kiwi Bonds, effective from 14 March 2022. The interest rates for the six-month and 12-month Kiwi Bonds have increased to 1.2% and 1.7% respectively.

Advisory Note: New Zealand Government Treasury Bill Tenders to resume from 25th January on a fortnightly basis

Treasury bill tenders will resume on the 25th of January 2022 and will be conducted fortnightly, rather than weekly. Note that tender sizes are expected to remain similar, on average, to those held during the 2021 calendar year.
