Changes to Kiwi Bond Interest Rates
The New Zealand Debt Management Office announced today that the interest rate for six month Kiwi Bonds will decrease by 0.50% to 6.75% and the rates for one and two year bonds will decrease by 0.25% to 6.25% and 6.00% respectively, effective immediately.
Kiwi Bond interest rates are set periodically from moving averages of domestic wholesale rates. The new rate has been set in response to recent changes in wholesale market interest rates.
The new Kiwi Bond rates are as follows:
For subscriptions of $1,000 - $500,000

| 2 years | 6.00 percent per annum |
