The Treasury today announced changes to the interest rates available on Kiwi Bonds, effective from 27 April 2023. The interest rates for the six-month, 12-month and 2-year Kiwi Bonds have increased to 4.75%, 5.00% and 4.75% respectively. The interest rate on 4-year Kiwi Bonds is unchanged.
Kiwi Bond interest rates are set periodically from moving averages of domestic wholesale interest rates. The new Kiwi Bond interest rates have been set to better align to those available in wholesale markets.
