The Treasury has today announced that an additional NZ$6.0 billion of the nominal 15 May 2031 New Zealand Government Bond has been issued via syndicated tap.
The bonds, which carry a coupon of 1.50%, were issued at a spread of 21 basis points over the 15 May 2030 nominal bond, at a yield to maturity of 4.0875%. Total book size, at final price guidance, exceeded NZ$31.3 billion.
Settlement will occur on 10 July 2025 and there will be no further issuance of the bond prior to October 2025.
